The brief
Metric standards, Canadian retail finance and nationwide compliance
Automotive retail in Canada requires distinct operational and legal foundations. We adapted the dealership experience from imperial to metric measurements, replaced generic tax structures with provincial GST/HST calculations, set up trade-in valuations paid directly by Interac e-transfer, integrated federal iZEV and provincial electric vehicle rebates, and aligned customer lead capture forms with CASL and PIPEDA regulations.

Brand adaptation
The same Maplecrest Motors, with a local accent
Deep spruce teal anchors the interface, paired with cool grey surfaces and a disciplined crimson accent reserved for status tags, ratings and trade-in badges. Inter Tight delivers compact headings across inventory tables and vehicle detail cards, while Inter maintains legibility across technical specifications, warranty terms and finance breakdowns.

Homepage, inventory and finance
The homepage hero welcomes shoppers with an inventory search across six provinces, filtering by body style, price bracket or hybrid powertrain. Core trust banners feature free delivery within 80 km and a 7-day or 800 km return policy. The trade-in assessment flow lets motorists enter their provincial licence plate number or VIN to receive a binding offer range paid by Interac e-transfer upon a 20-minute store visit.

Compliance, accessibility and trust
- Express opt-in consent checkboxes for commercial electronic communications under CASL across contact, appraisal and credit forms.
- Privacy policy compliant with PIPEDA and provincial privacy legislation, identifying the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the regulatory contact.
- Pricing and finance disclaimers stating that all figures exclude applicable GST/HST, PST/QST, provincial licensing and documentation fees.
- Passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks on every page at 360, 390, 768 and 1440 px: no contrast failures, no unreachable controls, no horizontal scrolling.
- A language switcher built from
hreflangsits in the header on desktop and in the footer on phones.
One system, twelve markets
Every visible string lives in one region pack per market (copy, data and alt text), and every colour and typeface in one theme file. This edition needed no new templates or components: a region pack, a theme, local data and legal content made it a different brand experience. For a dealer group with international plans, a new market becomes a content project rather than a rebuild.
