Aisling Ireland is the Irish edition of our fictional AI personal stylist, with prices in euros, a Dublin address and a palette drawn from sea mist and bog oak.

Aisling Ireland is the Irish edition of our fictional AI personal stylist, with prices in euros, a Dublin address and a palette drawn from sea mist and bog oak. It shares every template with the US edition, but reads as an Irish brand: VAT-inclusive pricing, GDPR consent, Irish place references and a quieter, more crafted look.

The brief
An Irish fashion site that feels local, not imported
The risk with an Irish edition is that it reads like a US site with euros bolted on. Aisling Ireland keeps the conversational shopping experience and the editorial voice, but swaps every price, place and legal reference for an Irish one. Shoppers see VAT-inclusive prices, an Irish privacy notice under GDPR, and prompts that mention West Cork weddings and Galway weekends. The theme shifts from the US edition's cool grey and raspberry to a softer palette of sea mist, paper and bog oak, with Literata and Public Sans replacing Fraunces and Jost.

Brand adaptation
The same Aisling, with a local accent
The brand keeps its editorial, magazine-like feel, but the Irish edition swaps the cool grey canvas for a soft sea mist (#DCE8E3) and the vivid raspberry for a warm bog oak accent (#875a28). Literata gives headlines a bookish, literary tone that suits the quieter Irish market, while Public Sans keeps forms and navigation plain. The wordmark and Aisling name are unchanged.

Homepage and key journeys
The homepage opens with the same conversational hero, but the typewriter prompts now ask for “a wedding guest look for Wicklow in May” and “a holiday wardrobe for the Algarve”. The occasion grid swaps Napa for Wicklow and Positano for the Algarve. The most distinctive flow is the composer: a shopper types a request, the stylist replies with shoppable cards, and refinement chips let them say more. Prices are shown in euros with VAT included, and the footer carries an Irish company line.

Compliance, accessibility and trust
- Privacy notice under the GDPR naming Aisling Ltd (registered in Ireland) as controller, with the route to the Data Protection Commission.
- Terms governed by the laws of Ireland, with disputes resolved by binding individual arbitration except where Irish law allows small claims.
- Cookie consent is opt-in, with Reject all as prominent as Accept all.
- Footer: © 2026 Aisling Ltd. Registered in Ireland. All rights reserved.
- Passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks on every page at 360, 390, 768 and 1440 px: no contrast failures, no unreachable controls, no horizontal scrolling.
- A language switcher built from
hreflangsits in the header on desktop and in the footer on phones.
One system, twelve markets
Every visible string lives in one file per market, and every colour and typeface in one theme file. This edition needed no new templates or components: a strings file, a theme, regional photography and local legal content made it a different brand experience. For a fashion label with international plans, a new market becomes a content project rather than a rebuild.

FAQ
How is an Irish fashion e-commerce site different from a US one?
Prices are in euros and include VAT at 23%; legal copy follows the GDPR and the Data Protection Commission rather than US state privacy laws; and place references shift from Napa and Positano to Wicklow and the Algarve.
Can one website design serve Ireland and the US?
Yes. Aisling shares templates across editions; Ireland inherits the conversational UX and design system but overrides currency, legal text, consent and theme.
