The brief
A dealership platform calibrated for Irish car buyers and statutory motoring rules
Importing an automotive template directly from the US or UK risks alienating Irish motorists with imperial miles, sterling pricing or unfamiliar credit schemes. Corrib Motors Ireland recalibrates the entire platform: vehicle ranges use kilometres, fuel consumption is measured in litres per 100 km, financing leads with PCP, vehicle trade-ins run on registration numbers with clear history checks, and legal copy complies with the Data Protection Commission and consumer credit rules.

Brand adaptation
The same Corrib Motors, with a local accent
The interface relies on Public Sans Variable across headings and body copy, giving inventory listings and financial disclosures a clear, utilitarian hierarchy. Deep moss green carries buttons, navigation focus rings and active filters, balanced by a warm amber accent for promotional tags, vehicle ratings and callout badges. Clean surfaces in pale bone and stone replace stark paper whites.

Homepage, inventory and finance
The homepage opens with the promise Ireland's easier way to buy a car, backed by quick badges highlighting free delivery within 80 km and 14-day money-back terms. Shoppers can search inventory using natural language queries such as hybrid SUV under €35,000, filter by 10 Irish showroom locations by Eircode, or value their current vehicle by entering their registration plate. A dedicated EV section compares charging speeds on a standard 2.3 kW domestic plug against a 7 kW wallbox alongside current SEAI grants.

Compliance, accessibility and trust
- Corporate declaration identifying Corrib Motors Automotive Group DAC as a designated activity company registered in Ireland.
- Statutory credit intermediary disclosure stating that Corrib Motors acts as a credit intermediary and not a lender, with representative APR and PCP terms.
- GDPR privacy notice detailing rights of access, correction and deletion, with direct recourse to the Data Protection Commission (DPC).
- Pricing statements confirming all displayed vehicle prices include VAT and Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT).
- Passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks on every page at 360, 390, 768 and 1440 px: no contrast failures, no unreachable controls, no horizontal scrolling.
- A language switcher built from
hreflangsits in the header on desktop and in the footer on phones.
One system, twelve markets
Every visible string lives in one region pack per market (copy, data and alt text), and every colour and typeface in one theme file. This edition needed no new templates or components: a region pack, a theme, local data and legal content made it a different brand experience. For a dealer group with international plans, a new market becomes a content project rather than a rebuild.

FAQ
How does vehicle financing differ on the Irish edition?
The Irish edition replaces generic auto loans with Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) terms, hire purchase agreements and personal loans, quoting monthly figures alongside explicit deposit requirements and annual mileage limits.
How are electric vehicles and charging adapted for Ireland?
Range is shown in kilometres, energy costs calculate using typical Irish domestic electricity rates (€0.30/kWh), and buying guides explain SEAI home charger grants and VRT relief.
Can the dealer locator handle Irish postal codes?
Yes. The locator accepts Irish Eircodes, routing routing keys (such as D02 or H91), towns or county names to pinpoint stock at the closest Irish showroom.
