Arogya Link India: healthcare referral intake design for Indian providers
Arogya Link India is a referral intake platform for home healthcare and oxygen, day-care infusion, IVF centres, specialist clinics, hospital networks and specialty pharmacy.

Arogya Link India is a referral intake platform for home healthcare and oxygen, day-care infusion, IVF centres, specialist clinics, hospital networks and specialty pharmacy. It speaks the language of Indian healthcare: referral letters, emails and WhatsApp scans, insurer and TPA cashless pre-authorisation, PM-JAY and CGHS schemes, ABHA IDs and the DPDP Act 2023. The concept site is built for teams in Bengaluru, Mumbai and beyond who spend their day on paperwork instead of care.

The brief
Built for how Indian providers receive referrals
Indian providers receive referrals by letter, email and WhatsApp scan, and they check insurance and scheme eligibility before treatment. The edition rewrites the product story around those habits: one intake queue for every inbox and number, cashless pre-authorisation packs built on arrival, and updates by SMS, email or WhatsApp. It adds a DPDP Act 2023 privacy notice with a named Grievance Officer, a demo-only warning against entering patient health information, and a footer that names the fictional company and its sample CIN.

Designing for India
What actually changed between the US and this edition
- Story - US edition: US healthcare technology company · India: Indian provider network across 18 cities, founded in Bengaluru
- Intake - US edition: Faxed and electronic referrals · India: Letters, emails, WhatsApp scans and portal uploads
- Eligibility - US edition: Insurance eligibility · India: Insurer, TPA and PM-JAY eligibility; cashless pre-authorisation packs
- Data fields - US edition: Patient and insurance fields · India: Patient, ABHA ID, insurer or TPA, request and referrer fields
- Integrations - US edition: US EHR and clearinghouse systems · India: Hospital information systems, clinic and EMR software, WhatsApp Business, TPA and insurer portals, ABDM health records
- Proof - US edition: US customer stories · India: Indian customer stories in Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Gurugram, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Indore, New Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam
- Legal - US edition: US privacy and healthcare rules · India: DPDP Act 2023, Grievance Officer, Data Protection Board of India; demo-only PHI warning; sample CIN

Brand adaptation
The same Arogya Link, with a local accent
Indigo carries the interface and marigold brings warmth to accents and italics, with a brighter marigold on dark panels. The palette is vibrant and warm, built for high information density and abundant proof. The descriptor stays Health, the usual term in Indian healthcare branding.

Homepage, product and solutions
The homepage opens with a referral queue showing email, WhatsApp and scan sources, then walks through intake, eligibility and pre-authorisation, routing, outreach and analytics. The search asks for pre-authorisation or TPA. Customer stories from Indian providers carry the proof, and the closing CTA band invites a demo. The most distinctive flow is the fax intake demo: existing inboxes and numbers forward to Arogya, every page is read, fields including ABHA ID and insurer or TPA are extracted with confidence scores, and missing documents are requested automatically.

Compliance, accessibility and trust
- Privacy notice under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, naming Arogya as Data Fiduciary, with a Grievance Officer and the Data Protection Board of India.
- Demo-only warning: do not enter patient health information; the demo form sends nothing.
- Footer with a sample CIN and a reminder that Arogya Link is a fictional concept, not a healthcare provider, and does not give medical advice.
- Passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks on every page at 360, 390, 768 and 1440 px: no contrast failures, no unreachable controls, no horizontal scrolling.
- A language switcher built from
hreflangsits in the header on desktop and in the footer on phones.
One system, twelve markets
Every visible string lives in one region pack per market (copy, data and alt text), and every colour and typeface in one theme file. This edition needed no new templates or components: a region pack, a theme, local data and legal content made it a different brand experience. For a health-tech company with international plans, a new market becomes a content project rather than a rebuild.

FAQ
What should a healthcare referral website in India include?
One intake queue for letters, emails and WhatsApp scans; insurer, TPA and PM-JAY eligibility checks; cashless pre-authorisation packs; ABHA ID fields; updates by SMS, email or WhatsApp; and a DPDP-compliant privacy notice with a Grievance Officer.
Can the same design serve India and other markets?
Yes. Arogya Link India shares every template with the US and UK editions; only content, theme and photography change.
Does Arogya replace our hospital information system?
No. In the concept, Arogya sits in front of existing systems as one intake layer and writes clean data into the hospital information system through standard interfaces such as HL7 and FHIR, in line with ABDM standards.
