Ahlan UAE — hospitality website design for a guest experience platform
Ahlan UAE is the Dubai edition of the guest experience platform for restaurants, hotels and nightlife, operated by Ahlan FZ-LLC from Gate Avenue, DIFC.

Ahlan UAE is the Dubai edition of the guest experience platform for restaurants, hotels and nightlife, operated by Ahlan FZ-LLC from Gate Avenue, DIFC. The edition is written in English, as the market is, and speaks its language: AED pricing with VAT, a UAE Diner Report drawn from all seven emirates, waterfront venues from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, and a Dubai Shopping Festival calendar. It follows the UAE PDPL and, at DIFC, the DIFC Data Protection Law 2020.

The brief
Hospitality first, software second, in a UAE accent
UAE operators judge taste before features, and they buy in a market where half of diners find restaurants on social media first. The edition keeps the immersive hero and the calm motion, then localises the proof: 9,000+ venues across the UAE, AED figures with VAT, a Dubai-based testimonial and a research report fielded across all seven emirates. Pricing, terms and the footer move to AED, VAT and a Dubai trade licence.

Brand adaptation
The same Ahlan, with a local accent
Sand carries the page and night teal carries the dark bands, with champagne gold for italics and numbers and a deeper gold for small text on light. Sora sets grand display headlines; Manrope keeps the interface crisp. Corners stay gently rounded at 6 and 10 pixels, and the wordmark is unchanged.

Homepage and key journeys
A full-screen dining room opens the site, with frosted-glass cards showing a New booking · Table 12 and Deposit received · AED 240. The headline rises line by line and the cards drift with the mouse. Below, the platform story runs through service moments, the dark numbers band counts to 9,000+ venues across the UAE, and every template ends on the same demo request, with venue type and number of locations.

Compliance, accessibility and trust
- Privacy policy under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law 45/2021) and, at DIFC, the DIFC Data Protection Law 2020, with a cookie notice offering accept and reject.
- Terms of Service between Ahlan FZ-LLC and the customer: fees in AED, VAT excluded, and no unsolicited communications under the PDPL and anti-spam rules.
- Footer with the Dubai trade licence number and a note that Ahlan is a fictional brand built for portfolio purposes.
- Passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks on every page at 360, 390, 768 and 1440 px: no contrast failures, no unreachable controls, no horizontal scrolling.
- A language switcher built from
hreflangsits in the header on desktop and in the footer on phones.
One system, twelve markets
Every visible string lives in one file per market, and every colour and typeface in one theme file. This edition needed no new templates or components: a strings file, a theme, regional photography and local legal content made it a different brand experience. For a hospitality-tech company with international plans, a new market becomes a content project rather than a rebuild.

FAQ
What should a UAE hospitality website include?
AED pricing with VAT, a Dubai address and trade licence, PDPL-compliant consent, and proof from this market: UAE venues, a UAE research report and a Dubai testimonial.
Does the design work across markets?
Yes. Navigation, footer and market text sit in one locale file, so the UK, Australia and UAE editions share the same components and swap that file, with the palette adjusted in one place.
How do you improve booking conversion for restaurants and hotels?
We start with a UX audit, cut navigation to four items with one-line descriptions, and give every page one clear call to action, here a demo request built around venue type and number of locations.
