Langit Singapore: entertainment website design for a shared-reality dome brand

Langit Singapore puts the dome in Tanjong Pagar, with a second venue in Jurong and a third in Tampines, plus Orchard breaking ground in Kallang. The edition speaks Singapore entertainment: S$ pricing with GST included, Raffles Place MRT and carpark directions, a chef-led kitchen and rooftop bar, and a CBD flagship. It follows the PDPA 2012, with a Data Protection Officer and DNC registry checks.

The brief

One island, three domes and a waitlist

Singapore is a city-state, so the venue pages become districts: Tanjong Pagar, Jurong and Tampines, with Orchard in Kallang on a waitlist. Copy is efficient and clear, with British spelling and no Singlish in brand voice. Prices are in S$ with GST at 9% included, dates as 18 Oct 2026, and directions use MRT and carpark. The footer carries a demo UEN and a Data Protection Officer, and marketing consent references the PDPA 2012 and DNC registry.

Brand adaptation

The same Langit, with a local accent

Tropical green carries the interface and coral adds warmth to italics, with a lighter coral on dark panels. Young Serif brings character to headlines; Plus Jakarta Sans, designed in Southeast Asia, keeps the interface modern. The descriptor becomes Entertainment.

Homepage and key journeys

A full-bleed hero opens on the dome, with a slow cinematic push-in and live stats: 26 m LED dome, spatial sound and guest numbers. The page then hands visitors to what's on this week in Singapore (CBD), with a drag-to-scroll event rail, category tiles for live sports, concert films, immersive cinema and art, and a dome showcase in an arched frame. Venue cards cover Tanjong Pagar, Jurong, Tampines and Orchard (Kallang, join the waitlist). The most distinctive flow is the event detail page: a sticky showtime panel follows you down the page, with a time selector, availability and a booking action, plus an FAQ accordion that answers motion-sickness, arrival and accessibility questions before they become support tickets.

Compliance, accessibility and trust

  • Privacy policy under the PDPA 2012, with a Data Protection Officer, customer due diligence and DNC registry checks.
  • Marketing consent statement referencing the PDPC and DNC registry.
  • Footer with demo UEN and a Data Protection Officer contact.
  • Passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks on every page at 360, 390, 768 and 1440 px: no contrast failures, no unreachable controls, no horizontal scrolling.
  • A language switcher built from hreflang sits in the header on desktop and in the footer on phones.

One system, twelve markets

Every visible string lives in one file per market, and every colour and typeface in one theme file. This edition needed no new templates or components: a strings file, a theme, regional photography and local legal content made it a different brand experience. For an entertainment venue group with international plans, a new market becomes a content project rather than a rebuild.

Deliverables

  • Market profile: language, formats, legal and seasonality
  • Full localised copy across 7 templates, header, footer and forms
  • Brand adaptation: palette, type pairing and logo descriptor
  • 30 regional photographs (Pexels, credited in credits.json)
  • Local legal content
  • Accessibility pass (WCAG 2.2 AA, automated) and QA at four screen widths
  • Portfolio media: stills, full-page captures, scroll video, OG image, brand board

FAQ

How do you localise an entertainment website for Singapore?

Use S$ pricing with GST included, MRT and carpark directions, district and venue search, a chef-led kitchen and rooftop bar, PDPA-compliant consent and a Data Protection Officer.

Yes. Langit Singapore adds regional venues to the markets page, so visitors from Hong Kong and beyond have one point of contact.
